While you and I might be, the majority in this country is not. Right or wrong, that is the reality. The unfortunate result will likely be significant losses in the midterms and potentially more losses in 2028. The Senate map in ‘28 is not beneficial for the Rs, which is why winning this time is important.

IMO the war is probably necessary but also politically awful. I still hope Trump gets this wrapped up and we have a booming economy before ‘28 approaches

And you should have to pass a civics test before being allowed to vote.

If you dont understand how our government is supposed to work why should you have a say in it.

It’s pathetic if you don’t vote every election or ballot measure.

I don’t see a point in it.

We are headed where we don’t want to go whether we like it or not and some of us have not accepted this yet. Voting isn’t getting us out of this mess. I hate to tell yall this.

Other measures will have to take place or we are finished as far as the way things were.

2 pts...
1. yeah, like that. And Dems lost everything
2. Why when confronted with Trump's colossal implosion on his campaign points, is the only remedy to say " but what about ...."

Indont want your world to crumble completely, so ill say this. You can like trumps successes or stance on his platform, and still admit what he did to lose the independent vote, and splinter moderate Repubs....which will cost us midterms

He is an absolute moron. Nothing is accomplished and he could have waited till now to bomb them, if needed.

He got bought

and hasnt been able to pass stuff with noth house and senate majority.

we do not have a super majority. dems stick together and we have so many damn RINO cucks who are unrealiable thsi is what we are stuck with. to pass shite with no issues you need a MINIMUM of 60 right wing GOPers who will stick together like the dems do. we have 53 and a bunch are unrealible rino cucks!

The Final Vote vs. The Cloture Vote: While an actual bill only needs a simple majority (51 votes) to pass the floor, getting it to that final vote requires stopping debate first.

Invoking Cloture: To stop a filibuster, 16 senators must sign a cloture motion. After waiting one full day, the Senate votes. If 60 or more senators vote "yes," debate ends and a final vote can happen.

The De Facto Threshold: Because a minority of 41 senators can block cloture, most major legislation requires a supermajority of 60 votes to advance.

Nah. They’ll show their anger by saying, in the only voice they have, “next time, don’t bold-face lie to us”

This is equal parts stupid and weak. A cop out.

Right. Conservatives that find it too hard to vote for candidates that will actually represent them are going to be smart and tough enough to exact these other measures.

Were you awake during Covid? Remember conservatives rising up against government as their rights were taken away?

I made it to the last day of early voting by one minute. I was the last person in line.

In spite of work, the kids, and the spouse. (cue the Price is Right, loser music for the liberals)

Yes, what we need are more uneducated voters who don't know anything voting because people like you want to force them into it.

Thus drowning out the votes of the informed.

frick that shite, less people should vote period.
