That will teach em
Can’t wait for the farmers vote when they are figuring out how to run a field with an electric tractor

An alternate plan - don't frick them over in the first place.

Funny how you went from "battles" and "foreign wars" to "conflict." After being called on it, its almost as if you arent sure what's going on over there.

Because no matter what it is it’s still he complete opposite of what we voted for.

Rather than arguing over semantics I was trying to cede a word game to not get bogged down in an irrelevant argument over technicalities and rather discuss the challenges that face the right.

The semantics game you keep playing won’t mean much when that arrogance leads to an arse kicking when it actually matters next Tuesday. But congrats on “owning the libs” because there hasn’t been an Omaha beach type invasion in this war.

Most people dgaf about the war. Most people wouldn’t serve in the military themselves but the ones who are complaining are those that never have or just put it on Trump. It’s not about the war it’s about the politics between left and right.

We had debt and wars under the Democrats.

Should've found some conservative candidates to run.

I actually agree for the most part but the ones that do are the ones that are engaged politically and the ones that usually vote. The risk is that these types you count on may sit out.

Define conservative because I don’t see any conservatives winning or running decent campaigns to even be an option. Most people are tired of the far left and conservative right. We just want progress.

I EXPECT it under Democrats. When I hear Republicans agree to end the war machine and end spiraling debt, and then the are proven to be liars, then I'm not inclined to support them further. They are my employees, when they lie to me, I fire them.

I can agree as well. However based upon this board who said Trump can’t win in 2024 because he lost to Biden are the same ones who are saying they’re not voting. That’s why I give people shite for saying, “voted for him 3x” when we all know they’re full of shite. MAGA are the only ones out voting in mass numbers. Posters also act like it’s because of me or I owe them something when I’m not the one on the ballot. Politics has turned everything to shite.

I don’t get how they can say “not planning on voting” when there data set is simply “didn’t vote early”.

My guess is that they extrapolate based on what percentage of the total usually votes early.

As in, (using totally made up numbers b/c I'm not willing to take the time to look up real ones) "Throwing the COVID election out as an outlier, the past 4 election cycles have held steady at 15% of votes cast submitted in early voting. Since we've only seen 400,000 votes cast early, we predict that there will only be 2,760,000 Republican votes cast in XYZ state."

Something like that. And sure, it might not be accurate. Then again...

These people will come out in droves on Election Day.

Maybe. Maybe not.

One problem with making the entire Republican Party about Donald J. Trump—which is what he tries to do, and what the vast majority here cheer for—is that when Donald J. Trump isn't running, people tend to lose their razzmatazz for voting at all.

Not only that, but there's always so much MAGA ire directed at Republicans in Congress for daring to disagree with Trump, the average MAGA voter may even have a negative emotional association with voting Republican (sans Trump) at this point.

People are posting about what's at stake and what public policies the Democrats will support if elected, but the problem with that is that neither of Trump's presidencies have been about policy. Populists here have literally posted, "frick policy, frick principles, etc."

They've been about him as a cult of personality and his policies were ignored whenever it was convenient to do so.

Well, MAGA can't have it both ways. You can't ignore policy and principle when Trump is still eligible to run and then get mad when people continue to ignore them when he's not the one running.

Not to mention, I think that people angry about Trump bombing Iran are stupid twice over, and I also think that the "affordability crisis" is about an 85% manufactured narrative with little truth to it. But lots of people buy into what I consider to be nonsense, and they are angry about both of those things.

It's especially fascinating to me the percentage of THIS board that buys into the "affordability crisis." To me its obvious that it's just the mirror image of the narrative that the MSM tried to create out of thin air when Biden was going up for re-election...that the economy was going GREAT.

MAGA should reject the "crisis" on its face, but many, if not most, aren't. They're buying in.

And when MAGA starts to buy in even when it indicts Trump, you can see the effects of populism spreading like the noxious poison that it is, and you can see the Republican base moving farther and farther left, in real time.

We'll see. I personally don't expect much more than the usual, typical midterm shift that happens when one party occupies the WH.

But I (and everyone else with an opinion) could be way wrong.

As for war, this isn't a war.

But the only good military action is a successful one. This one isn't successful (yet).
I understand frustration. It is to be expected.

You have no pulse on Georgia.

Trump candidates have lost the past 2 cycles.
He isnt the reflection of conservativism in georgia.

Kemp pulls more weight in georgia than trump does.

You don't know any such thing. I refuse to believe that anyone who is so low-IQ binary/incapable of any nuance whatsoever in their thinking could successfully log on and find this website by themselves.

That’s why I don’t understand why people are going to stay home. I get some don’t trust the system but now days it’s just out of pettiness. I won’t say maga has all the answers or Trump has done 100% well but it’s sure better than letting the leftist cock suckers take over.

Georgia Republican voters are retarded. These people cost us both Senate seats when they decided not to vote in the runoff because they believed the crackpot "kraken" conspiracy theories about machines that Lin Wood, Sidney Powell, and Trump peddled.

Sure. I was speaking generally and this is a thread specifically about Georgia, so my bad on that.

I stand by what I said generally, though. Which is basically, we'll all have to wait and see.

Anybody who brings up the, "They say they voted for Trump three times...but we all know they voted for Harris...Amarite? Amarite, fellas?" is definitely sitting at the kid's table.
