Not stupid, they just know nothing will happen and they will never be held accountable.
This is why 2024 will be no different. They will do whatever they have to do to scan enough ballots to win regardless if they have to scan the same stack for a week.

I've been reading some Democrat boards and social media pages to get an idea for how they're feeling and many seem concerned that conservatives are going to "cheat."

That email has been out there for at least 2+ years. I've had a copy on my laptop since April, 2022.
Unfortunately, it barely raised an eyebrow then.
I'm still waiting for a 2020 stolen election denier, any 2020 stolen election denier, that says there's no evidence/proof to articulate just what proof of a stolen election would/should look like.

There were enough irregularities to warrant end-to-end audits across the voting processes in several states. In lieu of that, I doubt the tallies had fidelity.

Agreed. I'm sure they try to cheat, but the situation is different today than in '20. Awareness is higher and there's going to be more eyeballs watching their every move.
I certainly understand why some have lost hope after the last election and the 4 years following, but I'm hopeful. Let's see what happens.

The penalty for election fraud should be so severe that no one would risk it. Maybe a minimum 20-year sentence.

If I give you 2,000 $100 dollar bills from my hand, and you count them, there should be 2000 of them.
That's their audit process. It's not a real audit
Now you take that stack of $100 to the bank, they check that money and find that 25% of them are counter fit.
That is an actual audit.
