JBE over Vitter was worse
Can't remember who posted it but somebody on TD said Louisiana elected the best husband, not the best man for the job and they were 100% correct in that assertion.

What about Roy Moore? Was he not prosecutor in a trial that ended up with the convictions of klansmen as well? Or was I just dreaming when I read that?
Yeah...and he's also a prosecutor who thinks people should be put in jail for being homosexuals.
He's a fricking piece of shite who takes a shite on the constitution.

Doug barely beat a pretty subpar candidate
If this was Luther/brooks what would the result be?

Truth be told, there are probably at least 10,000 Alabamians who could have beaten Jones.

I didn't say that I agreed with all his convictions. Just on the grounds that RockChalkTiger is trying to paint Republicans as racists and the fallacies he's spewing.

I guess the OP took his ball and went home?

or is Edwards over Vitter a better comparison?
Scott Brown in MA, but x10.
A non-pedophile wins this race 60-40, at worst.

Moe Brooks should've been the candidate, seems like he was the most conservative of all of the candidates according to a lot of national pundits.

The template is established.
The Dems picked off a red state seat they couldn't win in an election.

He will rep the majority of alabamians against their will.
Hopefully he has the sense to start making the rich and corporations pay their fair share. You know, like Huey Long did to Standard Oil. And used the proceeds to build LA-1 and Tiger Stadium.

I weep for your students, then. I bet your teaching has absolutely no slant to it whatsoever.

The template was esthablished in 2015 when JBE won, but just like in 2016. The dems won't allow their candidates to have their own positions on issues like abortion, which means they will not pick up any seats in the South or the Midwest because I highly doubt the GOP puts up candidates as shitty as Moore.

Didn't agree with all his convictions?
He doesn't have any business holding any elected office with "convictions" like that.
