Luther may have lost too. He is viewed as a crook.
Brook would have won by 10 points.

You should probably update the election results after you're finished sobbing in the corner...

You know, like Huey Long did to Standard Oil. And used the proceeds to build LA-1 and Tiger Stadium.
Huey Long was a crook and a Communist, at the very least a Socialist.
But you already knew that.
To think you're teaching kids is fricking frightening.

Moe Brooks should've been the candidate, seems like he was the most conservative of all of the candidates according to a lot of national pundits.
I voted for him the first time around. He was the only candidate in the Rep primary who wasn't a nut, a crook, or complete slimeball.
Which is why he didn't win. The political machine, which both parties are part of, won't allow us to elect reasonable and sane ppl to office.

Well it seems he's going to lose by like 10-12K votes and there were 22K writeins, almost all of which were likely Republicans or Indepdents would who have voted Republican otherwise but just hated Moore.

Nobody is crying for Moore, people are rightfully worried this will make it even more difficult to get things done in the Senate.
The Senate is a clusterfrick and a total lost cause. Both TN (!) senators voted against the ACA repeal, they can't pass a fricking tax cut without making asses of themselves, and party leaders are outright sabotaging their own candidates across the country.
If Doug Jones wants to keep his seat, he'll work had to find common ground with the GOPe on infrastructure, gun laws, and judges if they ever get to them.

So Alabamans saved their soul by the skin of their teeth. I’m shocked, but pleasantly surprised. Maybe their is hope for this country yet. For those who supported Moore, shame on you and f*ck you.
I’ve got no problem with infrastructure spending, but how are you going to pay for it with the give away to the super rich? They will bankrupt the country with their tax cut for the rich and when it fails, they will try to pay for it off the backs of the workings class. They already are. As for gun laws, there will be none because Republicans are bought and paid for by the NRA. They didn’t flinch when kindergarteners were blown away.
