Mom Just Became an official Citizen of the United States of America

So my father (RIP Old Man) brought our family from Honduras to New Orleans in January 1999.
My dad was 75 at the time and he was born in Honduras but became a US Citizen back during the Eisenhower or Kennedy administration or something like that. He was a fantastic man. Got divorced at like 63ish in Ft. Lauderdale and went back to Honduras to see out his life and met my mom and her son (my half brother) when he was 1 or so back in 1987. Mom's ex husband was a true piece of shite in every sense of the word. Threatened my Mom's life multiple times and cheated on her. Refused to get a divorce. So my dad comes and in has some strong Honduran lawyer friends who got the divorce through.
My mom literally came from nothing. Her family is from one of the poorest areas in Honduras. She gets married to my dad. Has my 2nd brother in Honduras in 1989. Then me in 1993. Both bro and I were US citizens immediately because of my dad's citizenship. My oldest bro and mom needed a green card and later became permanent residents.
So after nearly 22 long long years, graduating from my beloved LSU when dad was 92 and him passing away from that dog shite disease Alzheimers, oldest bro having a kid, me getting married soon, etc.....my oldest brother and mom became US citizens. My oldest bro last year and my mom 30 mins ago. It is crazy. I am so proud right now because this woman has busted her as providing the little she could for me and my brothers the past 34+ years. She is a fricking go getter. Moving to this country and leaving her entire family in Honduras at 31 years old. No english. Learning the language and busting her arse daily. My dad would be so proud right now.
Immigrant family. All 5 of us now US citizens. 4 guaranteed votes for President Donald J. Trump (The G.O.A.T) and one possible vote for Joe Biden (RIP Dad he was a registered Dem all his life)

Great story. With so many horrific things seemingly happening all around us, it's nice to hear things like this.
Sincerely, congrats to your mom, brother, and to your family.
