Destroying the worst regime on the planet and giving the Iranians a shot at liberation is my primary concern.
Yes, a lot of Iranians are going to die in the coming civil war. They have begged for years for intervention and to give them a shot at winning.
Go take a poll of 16-35 year old men in Iran
Option 1. No economic future. Zero tolerance for dissent from the regime. Living like open air prisoners until you die.
Option 2. Take up arms against the regime with a 50% chance you die, but if you live you'll see a good future for yourself and your family
Guess which option they are going to take?
