I have a very good (and high profile) friend in Bolivia.
Checking in on him yesterday, he writes me back:
Hey Idle, great hearing from you again.
What happened yesterday was a farce, absolute shame orchestrated by a corrupt and useless socialist GOB to get support and bolster the president's approval (18%).
The country is bankrupt, gas reserves almost depleted, US dollars and Euros disappeared, huge deficit, fuel subsidies remain the same and inflation around the corner. Guess yesterday's act was only the beginning of a severe crisis. Well, such is life in the Andes.
Then I chime in that the global elites are playing games. He responds:
Arce is a puppet from Cubans and Venuzeulans. Toss Iranians, Ruskies and more Cubans in the mix. To make things worse, Biden is not in this planet anymore. We're fricked.
Gonna be some big problems there going forward.
