If the femocrats had any real brains they ditch Jeffries andfind a somewhat relatively moderate dem from their party they could use to peel just 10 moderate Republicans to vote for.
Honestly there is a better chance of that happening than Republicans all agreeing on one person agreeing to the terms at this point.

Mike Johnson is the BEST congressman representing Louisiana!
I would suggest to you that Congressman Jordan is more at risk of being defeated in an election than Mr. Johnson.
Comments like yours are so representative of the Republican base acting like crabs in a basket.
I've voted for Trump twice and will do so again if he is the nominee and I will try to refrain from making stupid remarks about any elected Republican!

Mike has always scored near the top of every conservative index on his voting record. He's very bright and articulate.
He's very religious and doesn't hide his Christian beliefs. This makes him unpopular in D.C.

Mike has a good chance after Jordan drops out (doesn’t seem to want it and the scrutiny and can’t get 217 votes) and MJ can be a good bridge. As good a communicator as Newt Gingrich with the conservative chops (RSC) to craft and pass an agenda for America. I’d say his star is rising and Jordan+Scalise will endorse him next week.

I wouldn't be opposed to that but I don't think he'll get the support of the McCarthy/Graves/GOPe posse and enough votes to put him in the seat.

He’s a favorite feature on Maria Bartiromo and had a great Jordan Peterson interview in the past several months. He’s been groomed for national spotlight.

Exactly. Mike isn't as high profile as Jordan because he'd not as much of a bloviating grand stander as Jordan.
I know many these days prefer their politicians to be loud mouth morons who "Own" the other side, but I prefer competence and a touch of class.
