Those who think Mike is some kind of a nobody on the national stage are in for an awakening
He’s the best/most-sensible option available for the GOPe and he knows how to play their game
He’s a favorite feature on Maria Bartiromo and had a great Jordan Peterson interview in the past several months. He’s been groomed for national spotlight.
Mike has a good chance after Jordan drops out (doesn’t seem to want it and the scrutiny and can’t get 217 votes) and MJ can be a good bridge. As good a communicator as Newt Gingrich with the conservative chops (RSC) to craft and pass an agenda for America. I’d say his star is rising and Jordan+Scalise will endorse him next week.
quote:

As one form of universalism—liberalism—eliminated its competition for world domination, it paradoxically lifted the mental fog of ideology, permitting the return of particularity—rootedness, locality, community, and civilization. Hence, the conditions unleashed by unipolarity proved salutary for concrete instantiations of life in the world’s most prominent cultures and civilizations, allowing these culture-complexes space to reanimate and revive themselves in their particular spheres.

The archetypes of our past loom over this present darkness, but stand ready to accommodate a bright future in which they are reinvigorated by the agency of living men.
quote:

America’s leaders would be wise to adapt to this new reality, instead of insisting on conducting foreign policy through tired shibboleths and expired ideological constructs.
War isn’t the moneymaker it once was…unless the nature of war has changed categorically.

Any thoughts?
Think Austin will be replaced?

He seems like a CNP (establishment right) choice, like Tulsi is for the CFR (established left). Both are bottled for popular consumption. Be leery.

DeSantis & Pompeo are a likely ticket. Both military turned statesmen with impressive records.

I think your title says a lot about how to proceed. The fact that “our president is illegitimate” is such common knowledge that everyone knows, and everyone knows it, is pretty remarkable. This is also interesting when the left spent 4 years trying to create the same feeling toward Trump without effect. In Biden’s case, it’s utterly organic popular disregard.
That state senator sure got a nice shout-out. unusual for POTUS to dip into state politics

You don’t know a god damn thing that will happen...

I know the import of a God blessed event when I see its light breaking over the horizon like a sun. But you’re correct about something. People will die.
I like this quote:

quote:

Beneath its Prussian exterior of short haircuts, crisp uniforms and exacting standards, the Corps nurtured some of the strangest mavericks and most original thinkers I encountered in my journey through multiple commands and dozens of countries. The Marines’ military excellence does not suffocate intellectual freedom or substitute regimented dogma for imaginative solutions. They know their doctrine, often derived from lessons learned in combat and written in blood, but refuse to let that turn into dogma.
quote:

Just say you use it to prove whatever you want to be true.

You’re right in the sense that I do formulate my own thoughts as to what’s true, according to the exercise of my will, based on the evidence available.

Sincerely,

Nerd

So what is it that is suppose to happen @ the house hearing on Sept 5th.

I don’t know. I’m just interested in watching it play out
It's not easy to explain what the Q operation is and has been, because for those who have really invested time and open-mindedness, the results are heterogeneous. So I will speak only from my own experience.

There has been much disinformation employed in the Q operation, and this by design. Anyone who takes everything Q stated for fact is an imbecile to be pitied. Likewise, anyone who dismisses everything Q has stated is an imbecile to be pitied.

Like the founding of Plato's Academy, the ultimate purpose was to create a social space for the free exchange of ideas. The overt conspiracy theory stuff is better understood as relearning elements of true history, which is another way of saying true collective self-image. How did we get here / What does that mean, etc.

Will there be a grand popular reveal of concealed atrocities by a ruling elite? Yes. Will there be a great awakening? Yes. Has the Q operation been successful? Yes.

I've occasionally invoked the derisive term LARP for my own ends, acknowledging that I am indeed a live action role player, only the action is conscious life, and the role I play is both sublime and mundane. Another turn or phrase is to consider Christ as a LAMB, or a live action mission believer. That is, he believed in His mission, and lived it out actively.

Q is gone in as much as the platform has been removed, but the "Qtards" remain and are putting their education to good use, I hope. If I were an outsider, I'd keep an eye on the Sept 5th House Hearing with Jim Watkins.

I pictured him as Mister French when reading that.

I approve of this comparison

Can one of you smart baws explain how a space elevator would work for us simpletons?

It's not that complicated, as the original design was proposed by N. Tesla, and further explained by Paul Birch in the 1980s. This video provides a good synopsis of the Orbital Ring variety as opposed to the geocentric tether-design most people imagine.

I'm not an engineer and I get the gist of it.

The reason it's an important project is because it reduces launch costs (once built) for the development of space-based industry, including deploying solar arrays (outside the earth's atmosphere they can be huge and more efficient) as well as creating the foundation for asteroid mining.
