This is horseshite. Storms are an excuse. Speaking of storms, how about all those Hondurans on TPS from Hurricane Mitch (1999.) We just ended that, but nearly all of them already have anchor babies.

If you were a migrant that hasn't left yet wouldn't that make you a "resident" after a period of time of you setting up shop.

My daughter is a financial analyst for a large commercial real estate company. She analyzes properties in a city, in her case, Austin proper, and writes a report that is shared with investors that outlines what they can look to collect in rents on a new building or a newly purchased building requiring renovations. Other analysts on her team then determine turnover rate, business climate, tax abatements, depreciation, costs, etc., and this used in determining whether or not the investors move forward. She tells me rents have declined about 5% over the last year in the Austin area.

Hence the "drum beating" of another crisis the democrats wanted to take advantage of to embezzle cash. The Housing shortage. They scream from the rooftops about an issue they caused intentionally, create some fake gov't entity or council or NGO to manage crisis. Pump group full of fed/taxpayer cash, and the group in turn solves about 10% of issue while pocketing ridiculous amounts of cash and laundering it back to the politicians who look the other way so the scam can continue in perpetuity. Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

You left out that the blame whitey for the issue, when whitey didnt have anything to do with it.

I don’t understand insulting the people you depend on for survival.

The American culture she hates so much is the one putting food on her table.

Get the frick out.

We concur, brah. They have committed crimes, just coming here illegally is one of them. Remaining here illegally is another. And it doesn't matter if the President* at the time told them it was cool, because both actions are in direct violation of 8 U.S. Code § 1325 and 8 U.S. Code § 1324. Both the illegal alien and former President* are in direct violation of those laws.

You're a bit closer to TX than I. Most of the contractor crews in my area of central OK area filled with white tweekers. frickers can throw up 1000sqft of drywall in a hurry though. The foreigners in this little area are all Chinese that run these illegal weed grows. You can call the law to report them all you want, but they're clearly paying someone because Chini's numbers are only growing.

Curious how they came up with those figures. I own several properties and not once have we submitted anything to FedGov about who these people are.

ETA: Not saying you're wrong, but for me personally FedGov or even state Gov would have no idea

Same here. We own several and my wife is also a property manager. I know we've never had illegals renting our properties and I'm pretty sure her company hasn't rented much of the other properties (around 175) that she manages to them. But they're no longer taking section 8 either so maybe that's why

The nation is healing. This is like chemotherapy, we will feel some unpleasant side effects and pain short term but it’s necessary to cure the cancer

expect the year-over-year increase in foreclosures not only to continue, but to accelerate and they are making changes to be prepared.

Considering all those who became mini landlords to illegals...

I'm not sorry their tax avoiding tenants are gone.

This was obvious.

What we have a problem with is many people are surface level thinkers. Where did the dumb fricks think these people were living?

Been saying for the past 10 years if all the illegal immigrants were removed from the US there would be a residential real estate glut.

I don't know, I haven't watched the show.

But I can tell you that the amount of Chinese nationals buying up every rural property available in the State of Oklahoma upon which to build greenhouses or grow houses, would infuriate you.

And there's absolutely no way possible that the "law" at some very high levels all over this State are being bought to look the other way. Literally everyone outside of the major cities sees exactly what is going on. Everyone, that is, except for the police.

Not far from where I reside, there's literally a 60,000sqft Chinese grow building right next to City Hall and the police station. The "city manager" is a big investor for that grow, but he had to "withdraw his interests" (on paper, anyway) because the townfolk started raising hell about it and called State investigators a couple times about the situation.

add this phenomenon to the rent control crisis in NYC, where its cheaper for landlords to leave apartments vacant and not cost effective to build new ones. We'll be Canada in no time lads.
