I'll take it one step further: I'm hesitant to meet/work with liberal/Democrat coed co-workers because I don't want to be wrongly #metoo'd.

Why can't women start their own business? Why is it men that have to promote them?

I don't know if it is intentional or out of plain stupidity but liberals have no concept of the law of unintended consequences.

I have a female member of HR in every meeting group meeting and individual reviews. Even have them in on client visits to our corporate offices as an "observer for best practices".
Frick all that #metoo crowd.
It reminds me of PC Principle on South Park when he asked if everyone had their signed consent forms turned in before they proceeded with "relations".

Obviously we need more legislation to get more women’s into positions of power so women can feel comfortable asking for raises

Duh, what did women expect???

So my personal rule has always been no closed door meetings with females, no action item meetings with females unless another female is present.
15 years ago we started reading employee emails, as there were multiple shenanigans afoot.
A female employee was discussing openly on her company email, with another female emplyee how to get me alone so she could claim I tried to assault her.
I shite you not.
My rules became the company wide standard and though I left that company I know of at least two other situations where women tried to falsely accuse managers of inappropriate behavior but because they could never show they were alone with the managers (it's all on video) they got bounced.
I hate fricking liars, if you would ruin a man's life just to try to get a few bucks you didn't earn you can go frick yourself.

Every male of working age witnessed the railroading of a SCOTUS nominee based on false accusations. Who would even take the risk any more?
Yup
If a person can accuse you without remembering where, when, or who was there............30 fricking years later.............and no matter how pristine your record has been for the last 30, a bunch of fricking other women are going to want you destroyed..........it's time to steer the frick clear of women in all unnecessary circumstances and be very fricking careful when you deem it necessary

Let me guess: Their response was, "YOU HAD NO RIGHT TO READ MUH EMAIL! THAT WAS PRIVATE CONVERSATION!" (of course, conveniently overlooking the "consent to monitor" agreement that they must agree to before they are even allowed to log in)

quote:Woe! WW always have someone else present in those circumstances. Always. There are way too many opportunistic people, or folks with a touch of crazy. All it takes is one. Or even an innocent misunderstanding.
Several of the clinics and hospitals that I trained with after the #MeToo stuff start implemented policies that males had to have a chaperone when performing a physical exam on a female patient.
E.g., A local Oral surgeon was extracting wisdom teeth on a 20-something female. She was loopy on Fentanyl and Midazolam. He gave her IV Decadron to reduce postprocedure swelling, and she got the prototypical perineal tingle from it. In her semiconsciousness, she perceived the tingle as being diddled "down there" by the "horny dentist".
She filed charges and the thing went to court. Prosecution established there were moments when the Dental Assistant was briefly out of the room. Very fortunately, it was discovered a reception desk security camera accidentally picked up the open doorway to that room, along with just enough of patients' waist and legs in the dental chair to prove the guy's innocence. But the case was all over the news. It certainly hurt his business.
A Pediatric Attending in Houston was accused of fondling a child. I know him. Great guy! Corrupt (literally corrupt) prosecutors pushed the case hard. Had it not been for the fact he never rounded on patients alone, without a bevy of Residents present, he would have been falsely convicted.
So bad things can happen.

20 yrs ago I was working for a large 3PL and they required all new hires to go to HQ on their dime for orientation after 3 months of employment.
1. They only hired fresh out of college, so everybody was young.
2. Put everybody up in a hotel and open bar.
3. Scheduled intern orientation during the same week.
It was like one big orgy around there. How they didn't get hit with massive lawsuits i'll never know

There was a bit of whining but they were both presented, by our company attorney, the option to resign quietly and sign a hold harmless agreement in exchange for non-prosecution of the multiple felonies we had proof of.
The resigned and signed. The main bitch had the nerve to put me down as a reference on her resume.
A prospective employer called me for a reference and I started laughing out loud. I laughed for a good 30 seconds before the caller said I guess you weren't the best person for her to use as a reference. I said probably not, and kept laughing until she hung up.

Yall should have rolled them. There need to be major severe consequences for that kind of shite for it to go away

I work for a very progressive company based out of San Francisco. Upper field and corporate skew heavily female and heavily gay (or both). The annual conferences are by all accounts drunken, debaucherous frickfests.
