Jeez, it's been 20 fricking years. And like I said, both sides can point to this movie and say "see? they were right"
Leftists talk about him being an anarchist, while conservatives can point out how complicit the media is with the (democrat) government.
And that's what I remember the most; how mainstream media became shameless propaganda for everything the Dems pushed.
The movie was disturbing then, just as an abstract of what an authoritarian government would be like. It's chilling now to consider what Britain has become. I wonder if they ban this film? I do see comments that wearing a Guy Fawkes mask can get you arrested in the UK.
