That was my thoughts exactly. If you look up loser in the dictionary it would have these people pictured beside it. Imagine relishing in the fact that you feel you should not have to pay for rent to a landlord who paid for the property and maintains it.

Could someone please explain the strong tie between masks and these type of people? Even if you are pro-vax and "Trust the science" and all that, the "data" clearly shows there's only around 300 new cases a week in NYC in 2026, which seems extremely good odds to no catch the virus. Is there another reason I'm missing?

This seems like a scenario where someone willing to do violence could make a difference.
