The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) gets direct federal funding, not NPR. Some of that money goes out to local stations as grants. NPR has to compete with other programming providers for that money.

These "losers" have near total control of this country.
They've got almost complete control of our Government. They control our Urban Centers. They've fully infiltrated the Pentagon and now control our Military. They have full control of all aspects of the mainstream media and that includes news, sports and entertainment. Other than Twatter, they control social media. And most importantly, they control higher education.

I'm in militantly liberal Madison, Wisconsin... "The Berkeley of the Midwest," and the masked COVIDians are still present. I also still go to punk rock shows on occasion with plenty of far-lefty Antifa types that show up. I went to a show in Milwaukee last weekend and there were several masked people in attendance. One was even double masked. There are even some bands who still post tour notices and suggest everyone to "Mask up!"

It's a marketplace. APM, PRX, NPR all provide programming, as well as other stations such as WBEZ and WGBH. Local stations pick and choose programs from these providers using funding provided by CPB.
I think people are simply confusing NPR with CPB.
Wait, I meant to say you couldn't possibly be so fricking stupid as to think NPR = CPB, can you???/?
