Some of the most intelligent people I know are completely convinced that there is absolutely no bias in network television and the major news stations. They dismiss all outside information as "conspiracy theory" and propaganda, because they are instructed to do so by the talking box.

Race relations had immensely improved on the 80s and 90s into the 2000s, but then America elected a "black" president that race-baited from the Oval Office for 8 years, and set us back decades. It is what it is.
