The Republican party was dead after running McCain and Romney. Trump is the only thing that saved the party from being perennial losers out of power. The lack of insight by establishment “conservatives” is surprising…or they’re just lying as usual.

When McConnell romanticizes about Ronald Reagan he thinks of Reagan’s second term when he was in the early onset of Alzheimer's and GHWB was really running the show. McConnell wants the second term version of Reagan that provided amnesty and turned California blue.
