I get the sentiment, but it is probably more appropriate to say that I hope the doctors are able to make these last months of his life as comfortable as possible.

Cancer is a bitch. It's claimed three out of my 4 grandparents in the past few years.

Wish McCain well

Cancer sucks. Been fighting (and winning) against it myself this year.

I wish McCain the best of luck in his treatment.

Angelle, I'm not sure why you're linking this to me. Crusier's customer wouldn't have lived 55 years with a Glioblastoma. The cancer he is describing most resembles an Auditory Schannoma.

Agree with the man or not he has served his state and country for a long time.

He deserves respect.

Prayers and best wishes for McCain.

President Carter overcame some legions in his brain.

McCain needs to resign ASAP as Arizona deserves full time representation as this cancer will require his full time attention and he should've retired a few election cycles ago.

Hopefully McCain will be a patriot and leave the senate voluntarily of his own free will.

I'm glad this world has message board analysts to show us the way.

He and his family have suffered through some difficult times and there are more to come, feel sorry for him and them.

I really do not agree with his approach or his ideas for the most part but I am sorry to see a family suffer this way.

the official statement makes it sound like his melanoma around that same spot spread (even tho they removed it years ago) and they got it, but I think they just removed the clot and biopsied the tissue and the result came back. Unsure if they got the cancer before it spread?

My mom has gliosarcoma. It is a rare aggressive variant of GBM. It's awful. She's had it for almost 2 years now. Sad for him and his family. There is a 16 year survivor I follow on FB. She just had another tumor come up, and it is on a place they cannot do surgery. I wish there was more funding for this cancer. More research with cannabis oil. Anything...

My friend got into Duke The first time it was the size of a tomato...and it came back with a vengeance, as we were told. Mistakenly had it removed again...been better off not. They have had some success a few years back by injecting the tumor with Polio disease causing the immune system to attack the bad cells...but haven't kept up with it.

Explains a lot.

I won't be a hypocrite and speak well of him. He was a worthy soldier...he was a worthless Pos as a Senator.
