Of course the whole talking point is a strawman. Limbaugh didn't lecture Mayo Pete on family values. He questioned whether or not voters will elect a gay president. It's a valid issue to raise.

But hey, Mayo Pete, don't let the truth get in the way of a good talking point.

quote:

Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg said Sunday he won't "take lectures on family values" from conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh, who suggested Americans wouldn't elect Buttigieg president because he's been "kissing his husband on stage" after debates.

'I love my husband. I'm faithful to my husband," the former South Bend, Indiana, mayor told CNN's "State of the Union. "On stage, we usually just go for a hug. But I love him very much. And I'm not going to take lectures on family values from the likes of Rush Limbaugh."

Limbaugh on Wednesday said Democrats must be thinking of Buttigieg standing on a debate stage with Trump, "OK, how's this going to look?"

"Thirty-seven-year-old gay guy kissing his husband on stage, next to Mr. Man, [President] Donald Trump," Limbaugh said. "What's going to happen here?"

Honestly I’m not convinced Pete is even gay. How many CIA MKUltra acid sessions does it take to turn you gay? I don’t know, but ask Pete.

I strongly advise Mayor Pete to deeply kiss and inappropriately fondle his man at as many public events as possible.

And to ignore Rush's sound advice too.

We'll never know how the public reacts to Mayor Pete kissing his wife on national TV after his inauguration as President. Because it will never happen. But since this is about the hypothetical I predict that if Mayor Pete becomes President his lovely wife will be on the covers of every mag you see at the check out counters in the grocery. They still feature Michelle Obama.

Buttigieg is the most center leaning candidate and we’d all be lucky if he were the nominee. I can live with a Mayor Pete presidency, the same can’t be said about Sanders. It feels like those on the right are rooting for Bernie to be the nominee because they seem him as easily beatable, but I don’t want to even risk that. Bernie and his ideas need to be kept as far away from the White House as possible, he has every intention of bankrupting this country and unfortunately has a ton of supporters that have drank his Kool Aid,

I’m pretty sure everyone knows Rush’s position on “family values”, and he’s talked plenty in the past. Mayor Pete makes a good point. Sorry, but you don’t have a “gotcha” for the mayor.

What’s his “position on family values”?

I think he’s been married like 3-4 times. He’s not really big on “family values” as I understand it, despite whatever misconception you may have.

Pete needs to slam that tongue down his husband's throat with an intense embrace with some heavy petting involved.....on stage, live.

Ain't no baws gonna put up with that shite

Brothers will flock to Trump....Brothers can appreciate grabbing woman by the......but they will not go for none of that sweet stuff

Did he even say anything about family values?

He said in his opinion Americans won’t elect a pillow biter, whatever those reasons are don’t really matter, but I tend to agree with him.

BS. Mayo Pete believes in all the same shite Bernie does, he's just not a flag waiver. At least not the communist flag waiver.
