So will this increased level of employment and lowering of the UE rate require additional rate hikes by the Fed?

I just recently completed an annual county wide wage and benefit survey. It was crazy to see how many people saw year over year increases in salary of over 22%. The average ended up being closer to 14%. The job market is pretty good right now. I’m not seeing many people who aren’t in a better place now than they were 1-2 years ago.
I bet it’s mostly Government. Those are pretty much the only people that I know who have gotten pay raises.

I’m still amazed at how you Einsteins always have it figured out so fast that any reports that is somewhat positive is fake news that’s been altered. Any negative news is lauded as “truth” immediately and celebrated.

I was really hoping for a default so more people would lose their jobs and make Biden look bad, because I’m a real patriot.

quote:Between inflation, more people doing low-paying gig work (Doordash/Uber Eats/etc), and a lot of folks just not looking for work, I'd say most Americans are struggling financially and aren't affected in a positive way with those low "unemployment" numbers.
This figure doesn't include folks who aren't actively looking for jobs. Include those and I'm sure the rate will be in the teens.
Nor does it ever. What's your point?

Paid shills, such as yourself, can get fricked.

Just imagine what the numbers would look like if Trump hadnt turned the economy around. Yikes

Are you triggered, sweetie? Some would say that a real man could handle some differing viewpoints.. I'll take the high road and not call you out for being a little snowflake bitch - but just sayin, you might want to grow thicker skin.

I’m, quite frankly, triggered that you’re not triggered. Does that trigger you?

It is kind of easy to have good unemployment numbers when you 1) change the calculation and 2) have a near all time low labor participation rate.

Speaking of revisions, they also revised March +52K and April +41K.

Yep. And we’ll use this every time a democrat is in office just like we did with Obama.

Then you shouldn’t have a problem reading the constant revisions of data downwards quarterly. Or maybe even the participation rates ?
