Matt's wife is 29:

Gaetz is 40.

You are not wrong but Gaetz still exceeds the half my age plus 7 rule.

Bruh, he's tight with Bryon Donalds. Bryon takes him very seriously.

I dunno, what do you think he should have done when lying corrupt Peter Struck-Stroke-Smirk testified before him? Gowdy is a smart attorney, believe he was a prosecutor if my memory serves me right. I saw the testimony. I kept waiting for Gowdy to trap that excrement in his own lies.

Introduce legislation?

It was then I sensed Gowdy was all talk and no action
Have you seen how many times this is said about people in the legislative branch? This is exactly why he left. He said he was powerless to do anything.

True. And the reason this board thought so highly of Gowdy, at that time, is that many on this board expected Gowdy to follow through, by actually doing something, on his rhetoric and sound bites. He didn't. Talk is cheap and Gowdy proved it to everyone.

Like clockwork, SloBloPro and Aggie Yeller Fig Hank, who are “totally not Liberals,” can’t wait to take their shots and talk shite on a real conservative like Gaetz.

The lack of leadership that allowed that 1.7 trillion dollar Omnibus bill to go through without a fight and unread should disqualify McCarthy and all of the GOPe leadership.

It’s a good thing when people turn on politicians who don’t follow through with what they promise. You aren’t supposed to blindly follow anyone bc of your political party.

^ That.

Gaetz has impressed the hell out of me lately. Saw a clip of him actually using the word Uniparty when explaining why he wouldn't support McCarthy.
Boebert was next to him, practically swooned when he said it.

In the thread about Ginger Gaetz the other day, I started to post that if he continues on his current course then someday she'll make a fine FLOTUS.. but then remembered that eventually all men disappoint. As Gowdy did.

He lacked the intestinal fortitude to stand the frick up for the people that elected him. The very thing you seem to be criticizing the 20 that have done so this week.

Then he needs to STFU. Gaetz et al is in the fight, Gowdy is watching on the sidelines.

IMO right now, today, this country is on the verge of total collapse. The democrats (and their RINO pals) have nearly spent us into oblivion. Our unfunded liabilities alone are beyond our ability to pay for them. They've stolen Social Security from our retirees, and don't try to tell me they didn't. As I write Creepy Joe is scheming to steal the retirement savings of our elderly. The democrats have been scheming to do that for decades.

When future generations read the epitaph on the former Constitutional Republic of the USA they will ask did anyone try to stop the destruction? The names of those '20 Patriots' will be on that list. Your pal Trey Gowdy's name will not.

Nobody respects quitters.

That dangerous, dangerous age of 17... Not clutching pearls over a 17yo unless the guy is in his 40's and up. Not that long ago many states had 16-17 as age of consent, and Mississippi's was 12 (unless she was a virgin).

entertaining to watch the way the majority of this forum turns on politicians

I think him turning out to be a massive nothingburger while creating loads of hope and hype is why he gets criticized. Exact same as miss Graham.

I guess Gaetz has accepted he's probably at his apex and is just trying to keep his base riled up and giving him money.

Gaetz could easily end up a senator in FL.

FL being an actual conservative state run by conservatives held accountable by their voters unlike the one in which you reside.

This whole thing reveals that same people who run the FBI also run Fox News.

Fox is truly “Controlled Opposition”.

Close not quite.

Fox News is run by the chamber of commerce RNC, not the same as twitter being run by Biden appointees, but they might have more in common with each other than MAGA conservatives at this point.
