You, personally, do you believe a state should allow illegals to vote in federal elections?
That's already illegal.
So, it's illegal for illegals to vote in federal elections, but the federal government passing a law that requires people prove they can vote legally is a violation of states' rights?
With your logic, it should be illegal for the federal government to make it illegal for illegals to vote. That would be a states' rights issue according to you. Somehow, you think the federal government enforcing the requirements to vote in federal elections is a state issue.
Your argument makes no sense. You think it's constitutional for the federal government to have voting requirements but unconstitutional to verify those requirements. That's terrible logic.

While I would love it if every single state enacted something like the SAVE Act, I can understand a principled vote against as elections are entrusted to the states by our constitution.

I assume you are talking about his new wife’s? That’s the one that is undefeated and changed that man. He is a weakling to allow that to happen to himself.

One day, people are going to learn that Massie is actually reading these things that come up for a vote.

That's already baked into the Constitution itself.
I have said ITT there is no philosophical opposition/hypocrisy by engaging in the policy goal of the SAVE Act as a Constitutional Amendment.
So, in that respect, they would be perfectly aligned in terms of political philosophy.

You are conflating the Constitution (and its amendments) with legislation.

It will be fillibustered but it will give republicans fodder for election ads.

Boy, my home state knows how to pick em. Massie, Paul, Beshear.
If it weren't for the fact that we have Republican supermajority in the state assembly, I would think this state has gone full retard.

If democrats want everyone else to stop being suspicious about illegal votes and looking into them -> they should stop doing everything they can to look guilty

Well tough titty, then.
This post implies you also accept liberal fraud and cheating in elections because muh principles. Shameful.
We already knew you accept failure in the culture war. That's bad enough because this culture war includes liberal soft-on-crime policies that get people killed every day. Bad people roam the streets because of liberal DA and judges, and politicians refuse to do something to fix the mess of elections. You are an asset to them.

How does this not apply to the 215 who just voted against Republican principles (states rights)?
