No fricking way his family didn’t know he was depressed and had access to these weapons. I hope the full extent of the law is brought to bear against his family. It is beyond time for people to stop protecting people in their own family.
What is this like 3-4 trans killers who showed obvious signs of mental illness. The manifesto reads like some sick fantasy fiction. Telling his family to move on and forget what he did and continue to live their lives. frick that his families lives are ruined forever.

Problem kids used to just get a whoopin. Now they get a diagnosis and a cocktail of medications. Used to be ADHD. Now it's BPD, Autism spectrum, Transgender, etc.
I'm not making light of people with actual mental illness.
I just wonder how many normal kids have been given mental illness. Whether by poor leadership in the household or by teachers, school administrators and medical professionals.
This trend needs to be stopped. We need to reintroduce normal healthy means of dealing with problem kids instead of taking the easy way out by jumping to diagnoses.
I'm not making light of people with actual mental illness.

Wasn’t there a shooting in Michigan a couple years back where the parent bought the kid a gun after he was reported for professing his desire to do a shooting?

2nd... his mother changed his name legally to a feminine name when he was a minor. She knew of his mental distress and IF he lived with her she had a duty to notice his weapons stockpile.

And maybe they are guilty of something. I’m just saying that we should find out and punish appropriately rather than wipe out his family like Muslims would.
BTW, my family sure isn’t perfect. I’ve got a nutball or two in the woodpile. I’m not responsible for them, though. If one of them went off it would be easy to point a finger at me and say, “He had to have known.” I bet a lot of you have relatives with a loose screw, too.
