Mark Halperin was shopped a major hit piece on Trump

On tonight’s 2way Halperin briefly mentioned that for the last week he’s been shopped a story on Trump, that if true, would end his campaign.
Now what’s interesting is Mark saying this likely means
1. He couldn’t verify it’s real
2. It’s likely bullshite and they need someone seen as legit to report it to give it validity
But I truly can’t think of much that would “end Trump’s campaign” absent murder or rape on camera
