Women can pay for their own drinks. Hell they should be buying me a drink.

You think you proved something?

there is more than one reason why some people do not vote
I guess you can play pretend that anyone would claim millions of people are identical.
That was your claim
quote:
Why are you assuming that every single woman who didn't vote for Harris isn't a progressive?
Isn't your claim that they feel strong enough about politics that they would be incompatible with republican men?
They dont care enough to even register to vote, how many of them do you think care if their partner is conservative?.
quote:
so we can trust these 65/40 splits to be roughly 65/40 splits.
Except that every major study on non voters found what I said, including Pew, and none describe the non voter like you do.
https://knightfoundation.org/press/releases/new-study-sheds-light-on-the-100-million-americans-who-dont-vote-their-political-views-and-what-they-think-about-2020/
quote:
Your "non voters don't care about political leanings of partners" is extremely simplistic and its the only angle you have to push against the data I've presented so far.
I've pointed out that they are less partisan than voters.
quote:
Eligible Gen Z voters say they are less interested in politics and 2020 election than non-voters. Americans aged 18 to 24 are less interested in politics and less informed. They are the age cohort least likely to say they will vote in 2020, and 38 percent say they don’t have enough information to decide who to vote for.
Thats like I said.
These people are not hardcore partisans as a group.
quote:
Splitting the vote in 2020. If non-voters all turned out in 2020, non-voter candidate preferences show they would add nearly equal share to Democratic and Republican candidates (33 percent versus 30 percent, respectively), while 18 percent said they would vote for a third party.
The truth is simplistic, you've presented no data, just a mess of articles where you claim that this proves your point. (They really don't, in most of the cases you haven't even read the ones you post)
You ludicrously claim to have proven your point when every major study says the opposite.
You may really want to rethink many other things you think you know to be true.

Generally speaking, men benefit from marriage much more than women do.
I would say both can equally benefit, and ideally both do.
Individual milage may vary, but no one should get married because they think they will benefit more or less than their prospective spouse.

Curious what you mean about the last one.
Do you expect them to hold a job as well or will you provide the families income such as was traditional.

I imagine putting up with men means providing sex on demand. Holding no expectations for men.

Only if it doesn't end in divorce
Neither side benefits from divorce but men usually get the shorter end of the stick

Explain bc I thought women made less money than men. Unless there is a non financial reason for your point.

Are you serious? The only benefit a marriage provides anyone is financial?

So you don’t actually have a point it seems. Hint when someone gives you a chance to explain yourself don’t respond to a question with a question.

Well, yeah. Marriages aren’t divorces.

I’m incredulous. Women do the lion’s share of housework, cooking and maintaining households. Women do the lion’s share of child rearing.
What exactly is your point? That men make more money than women? Yeah, I know.

That’s not how my home life was. Both parents worked, mom can’t cook. My dad was the cook.
Also my parents made me do my own laundry and my brothers and I would rotate doing the dishes, cutting the grass, etc.
And this past summer was my parents 45th anniversary.

Equally benefiting definitely is ideal. Not sure how realistic that is.

Agreed. I doubt this happens very much in first marriage.

I can assure you there is not and never will be a shortage of delusional dudes who stand in line for hours with their buddies to go to clubs, just so they can buy a few drinks for some hotties and end up going home alone, over and over again.
Absolutely correct. We call them aggys. aggy buys all the drinks and a Longhorn takes the hottie home.
Posted on 11/3/25 at 7:29 am to TigerSharkMan
Other than Kadeem who is still going to 'Clubs' at this point? Is Jody even going anymore? Seems like one big waste of money and for people making $35k to pretend they are making $350k a year.

How many men do you know that pretty much lost everything because of divorce?
30 years ago when I was in my 20s I noticed many middle aged men working extra jobs. Reason was to pay the child support and or alimony. I decided then I can follow the same path or stay single, have money and retire early. I retired early.

If you all would stop letting deadbeats but in you this wouldn’t be how you view things. It isn’t the 60s anymore men are doing all those things regularly in actually functional houses(that aren’t SAHM).

Well actually you are wrong. Which is not surprising since you are an American liberal woman.
Putting up with men in my book mens exactly that putting up with us. Not throwing an hissy fit when we want to go hunting or play golf. Not bothering us every 48 seconds while we watch football. Not throwing a complete bitchfest when we leave the toilet seat up. You know stuff like that.
