Let's see how far your logic will be supported. If you get in an auto accident and the police say it's your fault, should the hospital let you die? After all, you now owe a debt to society, so why should society pay for any medical treatment for you? Why should those resources be used on your behalf? Should the police only respond if you're being killed and need to survive? I'm asking because some of my tax dollars go to that police force. How about this, if the IRS says you owe anything on your taxes then that means I'm subsidizing the govt on your behalf. Nothing federal for you or your kids until that is paid. If the feds kicked in some dollars for the local parks, your kids can't play until those taxes are paid. Does that seem like a good position to you?
