Isn’t it a little early to get into full blown wacko conspiracy theory?
How about just admiring what the US military can do?

Heard they are being brought back to NYC. Why there? Especially since their garbage mayor will do everything to counter this administration. Finding legit jurors there will be hard too. Also I'm sure TdA is in the area and will try to get them out.

Democrats: "How come Trump and his team did not alert us about this beforehand?? He was supposed to tell us a step by step, minute by minute update leading up to this and he didn't! This is unacceptable! He must be returned and Trump must be impeached!!"

Now what?
That's what's going to be interesting...the "now what".
Kudos to the US military for pulling this off so efficiently and in total secrecy. Not one leak anywhere.
But what happens with the generals who still control the military? These "free elections"? Whose going to run those and make sure they are free?
Getting Maduro out may prove to be the easiest part of all of this. The "now what" is more challenging. Because the US has to be heavily involved in the "now what". Otherwise, you just end up with another Maduro.

Can we now do the same with Walz?

Democrats are going to be confused on what to do. This knocks the Democrat/Somali fraud scandal out of the headlines.

I’m guessing they don’t anymore. There’s clearly some level of cooperation from within.
The amazing thing to me is that none of this was leaked. Gotta give a lot of credit to Trump and Pete for cleaning the DOD up.

Oh so this is like the Iraq war where it ended right after Sadaam was captured? That’s what happened, right?

It’s sounding like this may have been a negotiated capture with some cooperation from either Maduro himself or opposition forces (or both?).
There had to be inside assistance, and that would be a sign of proper planning. The overnight descriptions suggest that this was a competent operation. We will learn more after daybreak.

Oh, there may very well have been cooperation from within. And, if so, that general that cut a deal with the US to pull this off? How has that tended to work out historically...for a Latin American general to be viewed as a puppet of the US?
Someone is controlling the military. Someone is keeping the military in a stand down posture.
This is only the beginning of a long, complicated process.

Did Venezuelan military even fire back at US forces? I saw X posts showing desertion and chaos, but I'm skeptical about everything until time passes and things get sorted.
I agree there had to be some high level cooperation and seems the simple give up of Maduro by the military.

You don’t fly in, hit a few targets, and kidnap a dictator and his wife in under 3 hours without some inside cooperation.
Hell, I wouldn’t be shocked to hear Maduro essentially surrendered himself.

Venezuela hardly has a military. There’s nothing to stand down

I see we are still in the regime change business.
