You’re comparing apples to oranges. The EU, of which France is a member has given a similar amount as the US. Asking how much France has contributed of that is like asking how much Michigan has. The 3,7 billion Euros is additional that France has recently directly contributed.
Additionally, the EU has spent about 131 billion Euros on Ukrainian refugees, so all-in-all more than the US.

I think it’s about 15% more than us.
This isn’t an argument about who spends more. It’s a correction of a poster who thought France’s contributions were less than 4 billion Euros.

You are moving the goal posts. I responded to a poster who cited the 3.7 billion Euros France has contributed DIRECTLY since the Trump ascension, was no where near the $200 billion the US had contributed (per him).
1. Dollars versus Euros
2. Total for the war compared to recent contribution
3. Did not account for France’s indirect contributions through the EU.
4. The US hasn’t contributed $200 billion.
There is a myth that the EU is not doing nearly as much as the US for Ukraine. That is false. You can make per capita arguments all you want and it tips to the US if you don’t consider the cost of refugees, but it tips to the EU if you do consider them.
I don’t give a shite. We need to bring the war to a close. But the post I responded to was fake news, and I do give a shite about that.
