You said he wielded them like a battle axe. He did ANYTHING but. You're talking about a very specific tariff versus on the entire world.

In his very words, "Work only for a very short time."

Start listening at 3:00 minutes if you want to know what that man really felt on tariffs.

You have either zero clue what you are talking about or you willingly, deliberately twist reality to fit a narrative.

This is the author. Come on guys.

The Op ran away because he can't quote what Howard actually said.

This guy in the pic is saying someone said Howard said something in a private business meeting.

It's all bullshite.

Suckers and losers.

In the same meeting, he said there would be some exemptions on imports of products like mangoes that couldn’t be domestically produced at the level needed to meet U.S. demand, the people said. When Trump rolled out the tariff plan on Wednesday, there were no exemptions for mango imports. And Trump did give an exemption to the oil industry.
Reminiscent of being an "essential business" during covid. I wdoner what one has to do to get an exemption?

quote:

White House aides grew frustrated when Lutnick went on television and called for eliminating income taxes for those making under $150,000 a year. White House staff later learned that he had talked about the idea at a private dinner with Trump, and the president seemed to like it, officials said. Members of Congress flooded the White House with questions: Was this going to be a new policy? It wasn’t, White House aides assured them.

And y'all got all mad when told this wasn't a real thing.

Link to what Howard said in a private meeting.

And not some partisan journalist telling you what happened in some meetings.

quote:

In private meetings with business leaders, Lutnick has browbeat executives to support Trump’s tariffs, while at other times expressing sympathy and telling them he wants to help their companies. Lutnick has taken contradictory positions on key issues, including on whether certain imports should be exempted from tariffs, executives say.

This isn't an actual quote.

Imagine the optics of letting people buy citizenship for $5 million while deporting illegals (which I fully support), and the get out of jail free card has Trump’s face on it.

The optics are great! We raise half a trillion dollars in year one and about 50 to 75 billion a year after that. What’s not to like?

All you had to do was post this one, single statement and everyone would understand the WSJ hatchet job

Well, he DID start a thread about his 8 year old neighbor girl either inviting him to her birthday party or selling him cookies, can't remember which... and wondered how he should respond. That much is true.

Let us not forget the he also started a thread on the health/fitness board wanted help with stopping whacking off every single day, because he... "liked how he felt knowing he was walking around with a full load in his balls every day." That is 100% true.
