Jesus Christ, this is two minutes from the house I grew up in. I remember very distinctly when this shopping center (The Forum) was built. God I hate this planet sometimes.

Having said that, lululemon going out of business due to rampant theft would rule.

FYI, this was directly across the street from where a dude was murdered last year for trying to stop a couple of teenagers from stealing his car while he was putting air in his tires. Hard to believe this was once one of the richest zip codes in Georgia not that long ago.

It's probably coming...

Their insurance provider should make a public spectacle of dropping their coverage.

It’s a corporate policy, so it’s not due to it being in metro Atlanta, even though metro Atlanta is going downhill fast.

They’ve outed themselves with a bullseye for shoplifters now.

Banks usually have a zero tolerance policy for getting involved, but that's due to the threat of armed robberies and trying to keep employees safe. Plus the money is insured and the FBI is on it immediately.

Lululemon, on the other hand?

And to think a black lady in nyc got 11mil for getting fired after being late a bunch of times. This freaking country is fricked.

This Lululemon company better start realizing that the white women who keep them alive will drop them when they start to realize how ghetto their brand has gotten.

You're right, maybe it wasn't clear. Maybe it's not codified in paper somewhere (though they have no obligation to release it to the media anyway), but Lululemon can fire people for whatever reason they want, and as long as it's not discriminatory that's just life. They could sneeze one time too many and the boss could hate it and fire them for it.

It's dumb as shite, but 100% within their legal rights.

LuLu Lemon either has this policy in written form or they don’t. Organizations have codes of conduct and employee handbooks in digital format that employees typically have to acknowledge reading once a year. Some organizations train to the code of conduct and handbook annually.

... well, Lululemon were the ones that made the mistake in the first place ...

It seems the robbers were grabing clothing from table displays in the front of the store -- easy access.

Well if that is the case shouldn't the stores stock those displays with sizes "00" or "0" or extra extra small ???

Not making any kind of black market gain on that sized stuff

My mind goes back to ESG scores. Maybe the company gets millions by being a good little liberal corporation and letting people of the cultcha steal with impunity.

Maybe being a place where it’s hard for the urban population to steal is unfavorable in ESG scoring?

Best advice.
Keep your head down.
Let them steal the whole store.
I didn’t see nuffin.

It’s not your money.
Not worth getting hurt.

Back in the 80’s some retailers restrained people and got sued.
After that retailers use loss prevention.
Some retailers just given up as it easier to write it off than fight it.

They were fired for confronting the thieves. A lot of retailers have similar policies. The rationale is that the company does not want to pay for injuries to employees. The solution to this problem is to have an armed security guard in each store.

Thank B Obama. It seemed as if everything I had been taught that was right, was reversed when he was sworn into office. It continues on steroids under Brandon.

Take it to Plato's Closet. They like the Lululemon clothes to buy for resale. The stolen ones will be NWT - new with tag.
