Well if they’re in fact here on a lawful work visa there’s zero wrong with ICE verifying that…

FTR, my ex turned out to be a barking moonbat to the extreme after our divorce and she moved to Austin. 20+ years ago, she quit her $150,000+ job to teach Tai Chai and Trance Dancing. Now she has no money at all, and lives with her younger brother near Lake Chuck.

You seem to have a penchant for attracting that crowd. It's disappointing how lazy those people get during debate.

Notice, not ALL of them.

Also, if they have valid work permits, then they should get the equivalent of a pull over/warning.

You really are trying to compare a Terry stop with what ICE is doing?

Until im shown differently, my understanding is ICE approaches locations and checks I'd status and paperwork/identification, etc

That’s it.. some of my guys got approached at a job site… these all Black guys … everyone showed ID except one guy who didn’t have his … they ask for birthplace, birth year and first 3 of social security number (wired because first 3 numbers not unique)… but it was all to get one Spanish guy ID who was legal … didn’t want to discriminate I guess

If an immigrant has the proper documentation and credentials, they have nothing to be afraid of. All of this BS "we're afraid" is coming from the thousands that don't have this and are truly illegal.

This is all so stupid: if you are here illegally, you need to be deported. If you are doing it right (paying taxes, law abiding, etc.) then you're welcome here. It's been this way for a long, long time.

How many businesses (employing illegals) does Ole' Billy have in the game?

How I see it:

Sympathy for illegal immigrants who are already here in America is growing.
Anti Trump/Anti American activists/ algorithms are attempting to create a crisis.
The roundups play into the Democrats hands politically.
Trump will stay the course. It's popular among his base.

The roofing/construction/trades Chamber of Commerce types will take a hit. The professional/sales/government class will not.

I wish there was as much concern for Americans being squeezed out of the economy as there is for illegal immigrants.

Is there any evidence whatsoever that an immigrant with legal status has been detained for an unreasonable period of time after providing proof of legal status?

Never. In fact Obama is still to blame in my book. Your side is eaten up with TDS and blame everything on Trump. I have no reason to stop blaming democrats for their utter failures.

A little discomfort to rid the area of lawbreakers is acceptable

Feelings aside

If they’re here on a legal visa, no worries

Being here illegally is a crime. Yes. Arrest them
