Did they distinguish between immigrants and illegal immigrants? Can you summarize how the study was conducted?

I find a very even mix of people who oppose open borders and illegal immigration. I haven't met many that are against legal immigration.

I've also found that the people who believe the Russia hoax are anywhere from below average to near zero critical thinking skills.

I don’t understand how you drew that conclusion. I did post discussing the survey and said I agreed with several posters here. How is that not discussing and disengaging?

I don’t engage with people who bring up rumors from 15 years ago. I’ve been happily married for a decade and I’m not going to discuss anything about anyone I have or haven’t had sex with out of respect for myself and my husband. People only bring it up as a way to insult me or hurt my feelings anyway, which is pretty petty. This is a political discussion board, not a sexual fantasy discussion board.

I'm sure a lot of high IQ, well educated people are fine with limitless immigration that erodes the social fabric of the country and empties our resources. Why? Because they're wise? No. Because they're part of a contingent brainwashed/socially compelled/etc. to act against the actual, tangible, practical interests of their own country. Moreover, they're probably led to those stances in part by comfort - they're not going to feel the brunt of the impacts (or at least they don't think so right now).

I do think it's probably true that "very online" people are more concerned by immigration than those who are not (on the right). Felt illegal immigration for most conservatives around the country is pretty low. Social media brings the impacts to their doorstep, often exaggerated or editorialized. That doesn't mean it's not real or they shouldn't consider it. Most of us will never face violent crime, but we "feel" it when we turn on the nightly news and learn of it in our general area. We can debate how healthy that stuff is. But the premise here "dumb people go on social media and get mad about immigration but smart people don't because they're smart" is stupid.

The same smart people think men get ovarian cancer.

That is her M.O.

She usually only posts in threads she starts about 99% of the time because she believes she is intellectually superior. She avoids topics that require deeper thought because she is a pseudo-intellectual, and her narcissism prevents her from acknowledging her own ignorance.

This thread is a clear example of her ignorance. Most of the threads she creates are emotionally driven, such as the outrage over prisoners or the recent thread about what's happening to bodies in Texas. Yet, in this very thread, she claims that anyone who is emotionally driven is intellectually inferior.

It's fascinating to see her not recognize that she falls into the category described in the OP while trying to act superior. It's a clear display of narcissism and ignorance.
