Or maybe, the effectiveness of the money in achieving educational outcomes is being evaluated (or was evaluated) and the grants were found to serve no legitimate educational need (which any honest study would have found).

And you’re claiming this is usually done after funds are authorized and not during any reporting period?

Not really. Trump signed a law to disperse this money on July 1 and he changed his mind.

2. Why do you care about some stranger on the internet?(so because it’s on the internet, that’s been around for 25 years mind you, it’s somehow fake and not as personal as face-to-face)

You forgot 1. The dumb frick loves to say “how is this a small government, conservative position”. Like that left wing lunatic knows anything about the positions of small government conservatives

Am I reading this wrong. IF the money is withheld it won't affect teacher salaries, it won't affect the number of teachers, it will not affect school food.

Sorta sounds like I am going to be pissed when the money inevitably does get released.

What am I missing? Admittedly probably something. Legit question.

President Trump seemed to think so when he signed this spending into law. But he forgot or changed his mind so I guess we’re supposed to pretend that never happened.

Why would someone lie like this?

$109M is closer to 5% of the Federal funds that Louisiana usually receives.

That 5% is 5% of 13% of the total k-12 budget that the Federal Government contributes.

In other words, the worst case scenario is a 0.65% cut in K-12 education funding.

Well, considering you can't audit expenditures until they're spent... duh.

Can you clarify what you meant when you said the funding wasn’t dispersed because the grants need to be audited first?
