WHO PICKS YOUR TOWN? Inside the Soros-Backed Push to Choose Where Migrants Settle

A Washington think tank has drawn up a county-by-county migration shortlist—and wants private entities to sponsor arrivals directly.

If the Left wins the White House, it’s over for what’s left of the country. The average US voter deserves it

Put them all in Plaquemines and Cameron.

They will never survive the hurricanes and gators.

We need to put a moratorium on any new migrants. If we can't, they should ALL be sent to Martha's Vineyard.

Where is the Trump Admin and letting these refugees in? Where are these refugees coming from?
Is Trump WH complicit in letting these people in?

For a while after the storms, Calcasieu had the largest Honduran population in the state. I think they have since moved to NOLA, but they are willing to live in worse conditions than Mexicans, from what I saw. I have also visited Honduras a few times. Cameron is still an upgrade for many of them.

Wut?

This is the plan once Trump is out and libs are back in control. It's not happening yet.

I saw grand traverse county in MI on that list.

Most of you probably don’t know about this area but it’s 95% white, mostly rural/small town, has seen massive population growth over the last 30 or so years, and has had a massive influx of wealth (especially post COVID). Housing prices have doubled over the last ten years. It’s also not exactly an economic powerhouse. It’s a lot of remote workers and retired people who have been moving there.

Don’t mean to derail your Louisiana thread but how tf does this area need an influx of immigrants?

You already answered why it would be targeted

They are wanting to dump them where they'll have the greatest electoral impact. That lying thieving far left Somali community in Minnesota didn't just happen. They were scraped up off the desert floor and dumped there by people who hate this country.

Not even those illegal third world hooligans deserve to be put in Alexandria.

Of course that’s the real answer but I’m struggling to come up with an actual argument “they” could use to justify this

It’s a small tourist town in the Midwest with a 500k median home price. Where are they going to live? What are they going to do for work? I believe average rent is nearly 2k as well.

It’s over already IMO. The difference is how long it takes
