He's all talk no action. He is ok with Thune for not pushing to pass the Save Act. All he's good for is corny folksy speeches in public to make himself look like some average southernor, when he's highly educated.

You may want to suggest who will replace him.

OP is correct

Kennedy spends more time coming up with bits for his Forghorn Leghorn impersonation than he does doing anything worthwhile. He can go be a Fox News personality, but it's time to move on from him.

Dude didn't do shite for Lake Charles after we got hit with two hurricanes in six weeks

Why don’t you run?

This is a big issue. People that should run don’t run. Get involved.

I agree w/OP, but JK will get re-elected as long as he wants to run because of his sound bites...

Is there a schism in the Republican Party just like there is in the democrat party? Will a segment break out and become the republican socialists of America?

It's a really good practice to vote incumbents out anyway. You're own term limits.

All that may be true. Probably is true.

But he's not going anywhere until he decides to go

This is true. My gut feeling is we are in the early stages of generational change in both parties. Young conservative people are just as fed up as those on the left. Louisiana and Texas dumped their senators.

I'd also expect in the upcoming cycles 2028 and beyond, more and more older senators will retire.

John is very smart, and I can testify that a few years ago he did not speak like he does today ( like Minnie Pearl)..
