Great program.
Went in 2002.
My own group voted against me for Representative. Think that’s what it was, can’t remember. Can’t say I blame them.
I wish I could remember the people I met there. I met 0 life long friends.
I did get handy from a horny hussy in the bathroom. Good times.

I went in 2003, but I had a horrible experience as I had my wisdom teeth coming in and making me sick and miserable. Plus, my girlfriend at the time was at Girls State and a complete bitch to me. Apparently, I went a year too late compared to OP.

I was there in 2001... Got elected to the "Senate" from my group.
It was a decent time but not some life-altering memorable experience multiple teachers told me it would be (but I knew that was bullshite from the start).
I do still have my Girls State T-Shirt I traded with a smoke show from Baton Rouge with her name and number sharpied onto the tag.

I was at LA Boyz State where we smoked weed, played ball, cracked jokes. I was elected to "go get some fritos" office.

Completely agree! Like it was cool in theory but in practice, it was meh to me. I was a Senator too, and the only thing I remember is talking about a bill about the Iraq War...a bunch of 17-18 year olds talking about that was cringeworthy.
