Space X already has ties to LA. The fist recovery barge was built in Morgan City at LAD Services. They use serval supply boat vendors for recovery vessels. Blake Miguez had a few crew boats working with them for several years.

Unrelated, but we also just got Saronic & Magnet Defense. Louisiana is becoming a hot bed.

That’s great place to be destroyed by a major hurricane.

Seems stupid to build there with an elevation of just a few feet above sea-level. Storm surge going to wreck the place as soon as the build it.

Water supply for all that area is the Chicot Aquifer which is also the area where the plans are to pump a lot of CO2 for the frickin stupid sequestration class 6 wells. If they leak and ruin the water in the aquifer what are they going to do then.
Brad LeBlanc (geologist -Bradford Minerals) says it’s going to leak, just a matter of when.
LSU”experts” (no doubt being paid by Exxon) say it’s not going to leak.

I hope there is a contingency plan.Chicot Aquifer supplies water for south La from E. Texas over to Lafayette and as far north as Allen and Rapides parish.
Lose that source of water and Louisiana is fricked.

So, fizzy water?

BTW, CO2 sequestration is fricking retarded and will end up killing people at some point.

By comparison, Pecan Island is 7ft above sea level. Cape Canaveral is 10ft above sea level

Not really. Musk can build a wall around the facility, same as LNG facilities have done along the coast.

Tech really needs to move more heavily to the south.

California is so expensive the north east seems cheap.
