Touche'.

Still goes back to Lawyers on TV controlling this state and who our governor is.

I pray he is sincere in his attempts at bringing LA into the 21st Century and competing vs TX, MS, AL, FL, AR, etc. They have good things going on for their states while we wallow in the last of the best and first of the worst.

Public school teachers will strike and the state will have a mess on their hands. Can’t strike in Louisiana.

They can just all call in sick for several days. It would be a mess. However, it’ll never happen

I figured they were going to go down what with the full press of the NAACP/ACLU and Woody and his ilk and the general resistance to progress, but I’m shocked at the margin.

You can dislike Landry all you want.

Laughing about our state staying piss poor and 30 years behind the rest of the south is not funny.

From John Couvillion:

“This was a "primal scream" kind of vote, driven by robust Democratic EV turnout that Im not seeing being offset by a strong GOP Election Day vote.”

DEMS are mad all over the country and they are voting en masse.

Anyone else find it odd there were 590k votes? Seems like unusually large turnout for not a national election.

Idk. My husband voted in this election and I’m pretty sure he did not vote in the last presidential election.

People are sick of Landry.

Mad about what? Being exposed for the grift and fraud from DOGE?

Pushback about men with dongs playing in women's sports?

Pushback from getting illegal rapists, murderers and criminals out of our country?

Useful idiots are all that they are.

Cry me a river of leftist tears.

Yes to all that. That’s the point. When you get your free ticket revoked and the money stops you get desperate and get off your arse and vote. Trump won because people were tired of the BS, but republicans seem to forget midterm elections are just as important. I expect DEMs to win back the house. People like gridlock.
