I thought he was until I was selected to do a focus group of his that appeared on HBO regarding Kemp v Abrams for the 1st time. He was so slanted towards the dems on the panel, he hardly let us Republicans speak.
I lost all respect for him that night and wouldn't believe a single word he says!

Which is exactly how most Americans feel.
This attitude hurt Trump in 2020 because the economy had been good and people focused more on personality.
People now are focused more on policy and how we fix things. So Trumps attitude is more attractive today than 4 years ago

I had the same thought when Trump talked about migrants eating pets and then followed that up immediately arguing about crowd size at his rallies.
The absolute dumbest two statements in 5 minutes in the history of presidential debates. I turned it off at that point and started planning for the rest of my life under this ridiculous far left communist rule.

It’s so obvious to me why he won the debate he “ lost”. People want authenticity and results right now as much as any time since 1980/2016. A canned- response machine candidate who is polished and phony just isn’t going to resonate in 2024. That was 2008.

I listened to that interview and he didn’t say it was over for Trump. He seemed more 60-40 Kamala, but Nate Silver also has an around 60-40 odds, but towards Trump. Luntz admitted something could easily change on a dime and shift it back to Trump.

Yeah, but what substance was there in Kamala? Sure she sounded fine and looked good, but anyone still open minded is actually looking for policy, of which Kamala provided none. This may have been a Pyrrhic victory for Kamala in that while on paper she won the debate, she did so at great expense to her platform.
