The intention is very well placed.
But it's a slippery slope. While I lived in New Jersey, I had talked with a lot of legal immigrants. Quite a few that came here running from socialist countries.
They would talk about how their govt owned them.
Government controlled healthcare is one of the methods their govt would as one of them said "own our bodies". Particularly when it came to their elderly and their children.
A lot of them wanted to spit, at the mention of Obamacare.
Again, it's a good intention. But it can also be very easily weaponized.
