"Great job sticking to your guns on border security, Mr. President!

You are right to want more border security funding including Wall money.

They are WRONG to say no.

Put DACA on the table and make them say NO to the Wall and DACA.

Why the frick would he put DACA on the table when he doesn't have to put DACA on the table?

The house already passed the bill. In three weeks, he'll have a 53-47 margin in the senate. There are other perks to throw to a few Dems other than legalizing a million fricking river swimmers.

frick all of that.

This country has a ridiculously short memory. Trump already did this and the dems said no. DACA can no longer be used.

Toddy is on Fox right now menstruating over it.

He needs to be set on fire, and put out with a wet chain.

Why bother? It's such a drop in the bucket. It's something like one tenth of 1% of the budget. Why are the liberal derps lying about it?

I have no problem with giving a daca recipient a pathway to a green card, other permanent residence status, or citizenship.

Daca recipients have been in this country since they were teenagers and spent a decade or more here. Do you really want to send someone like this back to a country that they don't know?

Irl Ex:

I've got a friend that has been here since 2002. Both of his parents and two siblings are citizens. Had he filed for his green card before the age of 21, he would have been immediately approved; however, his parents were handling it, thought that he had become "too American", and purposely didn't file the paperwork. He didn't think about it, bc he was busy being a sports fanatic and getting his undergrad degree.

Now, he is only still here bc of daca, and he is having to play the waiting game to get prs through an f1 or f4 visa, which can take awhile.

Do you think that my "too American" friend should have to go by himself back to a country that he doesn't know? Without daca, his parents would have gotten their way: their "too American" son going back to a Muslim country to fix the "too American" problem.

I believe that there are less than 1m daca recipients. I'm all for the people who meet daca requirements getting to stay.

frick amnesty though.

While your friend may be the exception, here is a little factoid about the rest of those Rhode Scholars:

In unearthing rare data that details the crimes and sentences of illegals in Arizona, the Crime Prevention Research Center reported that immigrants age 15-35, the general population of the 700,000 in Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, “commit crime at twice the rate of young U.S. citizens.”

Another fact:

10% of daca recipients have had their status "not renewed" and that doesnt happen for a traffic violation.

The facts are overwhelming that Latin Illegals are a far cry from Indian, European, Asian LEGAL immigrants from a contribution vs drain perspective.
