Most liberals I know want to have things like redlining and the Tulsa stuff taught in schools, and that is as far as it goes.
Some liberals I know want schools to teach whitey is always bad and must repent and pay reparations.
Like many things, "CRT" means a lot of different things to a lot of different people.

This. I have a lot of people posting similar rants on Facebook, like how schools should teach that black wwii veterans were excluded from the gi bill, that Christopher Columbus was a genocidal maniac, and that Andrew Jackson was Hitler for ethnic cleansing the natives via the trail of tears.

All I know is a lot of parents (and kids too) have seemingly had enough and are starting to speak out loudly and push back against something “that doesn’t really exist”. And the various school boards don’t seem too interested in engaging with those people.

Not completely accurate as they weren't "excluded" from GI bill benefits... however many of them had trouble actually using them, as they were prevented from attending certain colleges, buying in certain neighborhoods, etc. This is reasonable to teach.
