I know that. But giving free ID's to poor people would end their ability to claim racism and discrimination are the reasons motivating a push for voter ID laws.
I'm pretty sure just about every ID requirement includes free IDs. That's never been the issue. That's a lie from the left.
You have to remember that these people that can't get IDs are the same people that "can't" get to the polls so the dems go round them up and take them. Obviously, any concern about getting identification could be easily remedied by the same ground game that the democrats employ every election.
No, this is about protecting a system that allows illegal voters. The scale of illegal voters isn't clear, but it's more than just illegal aliens who vote...it's also citizens who vote more than once as a part of an organized effort led by the democrats.

You are required to have an ID to get welfare, food stamps, and medicaid.
How in the world are all these blacks getting these things and not have an ID to get them?????

Simple logic
Fail. Again.
The Democratic Party is the true suppressors of their vote.

You ever been to traffic court? I swear there are always at least 20 people being ticketed for driving without a license.
A lot of poor folk dont rent cars or fly so that seems irrelevant.
I dont want to get caught up in semantics here because there is plenty of data to show that the minority vote is lesser when these laws are implemented.
So:
1. Less minorities vote whenever voter ID laws are implemented.
2. There are almost no cases of voter fraud year-in and year-out.
3. Minorities don't vote Republican predominantly
4. Republicans are the ones really pushing this
Looks pretty fishy to me when the party of smaller government and smaller bureaucracy is suddenly cracking down on something that almost doesn't happen.
Its a joke. You can watch all of the YouTube videos you want but one guy walking around asking black people in the street if they have an ID and asking college kids if it's racist or not doesn't prove anything.

So you can afford a car, but not an id?

In big cities where public transportation, sure... What about rural folk?

Only thing fishy is someone whom doesn't have an ID. They are less than $20, and there are avenues to get them for FREE if needed.

I agree. If you can't get yourself an ID card, you are an absolute joke and a failure.

Neither is an issue for me and its been proven that minority turnout is affected by voter ID laws. Im not going to get caught in your misdirection semantics about how many black people have IDs. Its obviously affecting their turnout and that is exactly what the Republicans want.

That's right. The EX president is meeting with foreign leaders to talk about Trump.
Umm thats you. Dont project your bullshite on me. A simple search would provide you with data but instead you decided to find a slanted video on YouTube of a guy talking to several college students and a few black people. Youre clearly the one who is swallowing ignorance here, as usual.

It doesnt affect everyone. Usually socioeconomic groups at the bottom of the ladder

Didn't say it was. "You" was a generic term for those whom you were speaking of.

because you can't defend people not having a govt issued ID in today's world. You literally have to go OUT OF YOUR WAY to not have an ID. This isn't the 60s anymore. You need an ID to do damn near everything.

Que? Try again buddy.

Good thing there are avenues for free ID cards damn near everywhere in the us.
So do these people not have bank accounts? Not live in an apt or a home? Not have a car? Straight edge and don't drink nor smoke? Do they just not go to the doctor or get their prescriptions filled?
Keep dancing little puppet. This is fun.

Why don't you want American citizens to vote? Are you that dismissive of views you don't share (spoiler: you're in the minority of views), or are you just that scared of them?

slightly off topic, but do you believe in "consumer protection" laws? do you think that payday loan places should be more harshly regulated or possibly made illegal?

It's weird that some people think a 400% APR on the poorest among us is okay, because someone profits.
