Numerous threads have been posted here that have established a coup in Ukraine - Victoria Nuland is on recorded calls, calling the shots.

Since the globetrotting war enterprise really got started, Nuland has been in every administration except one - Trump's.

"It was not a COUP"
Soooo, let's see. The democratically elected President of Ukraine was run out of the country by an armed mob the day after they put several bullet holes in the Presidential limo carrying his family. Constitutionality was ignored in the ensuing powergrab. Non-aligned factions correctly termed the usurping group a junta.

Who the f#*K would say that was not a coup? and who the f#*K would be stupid enough to believe them?

It’s difficult to find any objective write up on the revolution that you can feel is factual and not slanted propaganda. That said, there is more than enough anecdotal evidence to suggest the US and US sponsored NGOs were heavily involved in fomenting unrest via a color revolution and even admitted their objectives openly or in leaks.

The scary part is Ukraine is a tragic example of how a population can be manipulated by the elites and rally behind concepts that lead to their own self destruction. Given what we know now Ukraine would have been much better off assuming a neutral position, trying to reconcile their pro and anti Russian factions and becoming the trade hub between European and Russian interests.

They did not though and now I bet a lot of those young protestors are at room temperature as a result of the ongoing war and destruction of their country.

We don’t need money or resources from Ukraine.

IMO we did it because we have politicians, bureaucrats and MIC types that are still fighting the Cold War and look at the people and countries of the world as disposable pieces in their personal game of risk. Also, we obviously didn’t like Russia expanding trade….especially energy…with Europe.

Here is the Nuland/Pyatt phone call. They say to keep Klitschko and neo-nazi Tyahnybok on the outside. "Yats is the guy." Also, "frick the EU." Draw your own conclusions.

this whole ukraine war is nothing more than an american exercise to bring about regime change in russia. they want putin gone so they can put in their people and assume control. just like it happened in ukraine. regime change is something america is very good at. like lindsey graham says, this is money well spent in ukraine.

Depends on perspective, if you supported the Russian controlled government they established it could be called a coup.

If you were a Ukrainian appreciating sovereignty and wanting to leave the Russian shite zone it was a color revolution just like other freedom loving people organized.

So overturning the results of an election isn’t insurrection and a threat to democracy?

You've turned into the new BoarEd, just derailing every discussion with bad-faith nonsense. We get it already, Trump is your Savior.

’fraudulent’ in this instance meaning ‘democratically electing someone we can’t buy off’

that would never do, because the group who would gain the most from such an arrangement would be the Ukrainian people

Ok.. So the majority here believe we did help and was involved.

Yes. We sent "fact-finding missions" to arrange the grift channel, then used state department and CIA influence to set things up to make grift easy.

This is why we are paying them. Right?

No. We are paying them because the channels were set up to get a relatively high percentage back to the politicians in the US. This is not about long term world peace or strengthening Western influence - this is about lining pockets.

I've linked some pieces laying out the meddling in Ukraine by the US and to some extent the EU...I think most people understand what's being spewed by the Gaslight Media to drum up support for Ukraine is 100% propaganda.

So we tricked Putin into invading Ukraine so we could force regime change?
I would have thought Putin was smarter than that.

Mineral reserves.
Almost every war ever has been about 2 things:
Minerals
Strategic positioning for future minerals

Meh.
I’ve read a hundred times that this was the reason we went to Afghanistan, including the wonderful news that there was a $ trillion$ in minerals that we wanted.
Funny that I never saw any proof of that

Why didn’t we mine the lithium? If so, which companies were doing it?

I don’t know if we did or not. But if we didn’t, we blew a huge opportunity to do so.
