This. If Trump would've just said "I'm going to spend less on wars and handouts to undeserving people and spend more on correctly funding our border patrol so they can more effectively do there jobs! This will be with more manpower, technology, resources and training!". He would've had me sold.
Instead he pandered to the lowest common denominator crowd with the "Build that wall!" chant. Dumb dumbs.

I'm confused by your comment. A giant and long arse wall will need maintenance. My fricking back deck requires maintenance every now and then, you best be damn sure a giant long wall will. But I'm guessing the messicans are just gonna walk to the wall and hand over all their money to help pay for it, amirite?

Yeah when you're there it is pretty shocking how porous the border is. Just a few miles from here there was a gate with a chain and padlock. But this is really in the middle of nowhere. You have to be careful you have enough gas it is that much BFE.
Keep in mind, no matter how you design the wall you have to monitor it and when someone is messing around next to it, dispatch agents.
Again, I think manpower is the key.

We will need to leave a few more holes in the wall that we build on the northern wall so that we can limit the traffic jams of liberals moving to Canada. We don't want those electric cars running out of juice while they are still in the USA.

The wife calls me one day while i'm deer hunting in a panic. While she was in the front landscaping, she found a snake about 18inchs long. Being that she is deathly afraid, and i'm not coming home, she hollers at the mexicans doing my neighbors landscaping.
The SOB told her it was a very poisonous snake that he thought only lived in the deserts. Had her terrified.
As i drove up, they were all laughing thier asses off.
Damn green snake.
