A wall aint gonna do shite. The Mexicans are ingenious. I watched a border patrol show last night and the people trying to cross the border managed to cram a guy inside the back bumper of a Ford Explorer. A full grownish (5'5") man in a bumper of a SUV!

It really won't, but its hilarious to think about.

Give a Mexican a metal spoon and some dental floss and they'll get through anything.

15 foot solid reinforced concrete with razor wire on top. 15 foot trench 10 feet wide behind it with steel wall buried 20 feet on either side of the trench. Then a barbed wire system with a chain link security fence and finally an asphalt two-way road

Wall - buried - trench - buried - barbed - fence - road

What do you think it will look like? Standard block and mortar? Wire? High tech?

Since Trump is building it I expect that there will be a lot of shatterproof glass and marble.

it will be virtual. Here are the bricks

1. Grant specific agricultural visas
2. Any business caught employing a illegal is subject to 100k in fines and up to 5 years in prison per offense
3. There is a 20 year moratorium once becoming a legal citizen before you can receive any federal, state or local benefits.
4. English is the national language. All federal language is in English no more Spanish or any other language
5. Children born in the US are not citizens unless one parent is a us citizen
6. the cost to support illegals in sanctuary cities will be deducted from federal funding. they want them, they can pay for them
7. HB1 visa there's an annual government fee of 50k per hb1 visa plus the estimated cost to school children. This can be used to fund training for Americans to build skills needed for those roles

Based on the remote locale I think they are going to have to set up concrete plans and do precast panels and piles. Piles get shipped to site and driven and panels slide in between.

Dig deep trenches. Fill trenches with concrete.

Build wall. Build it high with a moat filled with alligators on the other side...

I have driven next to the border in TX, NM, and AZ.

IMHO they really have the areas covered they just need more manpower. They have tracking systems, IR, and badass cameras on trucks.

In many parts of the border there is only a wire fence and a bunch of cut up railroad ties welded together (see attached pic in AZ by me).

I know it is one of his campaign promises but I think they just need more manpower and to let the border patrol actually do their jobs. Maybe just walls in the areas that get crossed heavily.

Just put up a fence with pictures of snakes on it. Mexicans are terrified of snakes.

A wall is never going to happen. Just simply based on:
-funding
-construction
-monitoring
-maintenance
-effectiveness

Construction alone would take, what, a minimum of 2-4 years for a wall that long? Who are you going to have monitor it? Isn't that more federal funding?
Who's going to maintain it? Another federal contractor? Man, lots of money being spent on a wall to stop like 15% of illegal immigration.
Doesn't seem that cost effective.
