Let's all come clean, why is Trump so despised and hated by some Americans?

I can understand if you're a hard leftist why you hate Trump because Trump's policies don't align with your cultural Marxist dreams but if you're more a centrist or decidedly on the right what's your reason?

I'll admit I'm not a huge fan of Trump's outbursts and often narcissistic comments but I had to be honest in 2016 when my pick for R candidate for the presidency didn't survive the debates, I had to listen to what Trump was campaigning on and more often than not I agreed with his vision for America.....I still do and so far I don't see a R candidate that can match Trump's original vision for America and they certainly can't match Trump's passion.

I started a new job a few weeks ago and there is this fat nasty left wing snowflake liberal who works in the office

We had a customer call in and his name was “Donald” and when she heard that his name was Donald I could not believe what I saw the way she acted toward his name.

It was almost like she was trying to take a massive shite and it wouldn’t come out - that’s the face she made when saying his name

It was disgusting and very embarrassing

Needless to say, I quit working there after 3 weeks because of her liberal sickness. Told myself I could not work with someone like that.

I mean to act like that because of someone’s name is just a sick disease and pathetic

Jealous of his success. They make up all types of excuses of why he got to the top.

If he got 99% good news coverage instead of 99% negative, he would be by and far the most popular president in the history of this country.

Like win 40+ states popular. People believe and only see the press about him. It’s the people that take the time to watch his rally’s and listen to his speeches that get it.

1. He’s a loudmouthed narcissistic ahole who can’t clearly speak about sound fiscal issues

And then, there’s this

For some it’s because the talking box told them to be. Despite what they make think or say about how strong willed they are in regards to media pundits not having any influence over their thoughts or opinions the talking heads have them taking the bait.

For others I guess it’s the stigma of his big, brash, New Yorker brand he’s cultivated since the 80s.

It was HER turn. And when he won, the media painted him as a villain.. The Hollywood types with large social media presences joined in, despite the fact that he was tangentially one of them for years. . They called for his impeachment like ten days into his term and 93%+ of the news stories were negative about him and neither relented. They still haven’t. The media conditioned people to hate him.

Stop listening to sound bites and watch some of his policy speeches. He speaks more clearly fiscally from a common sense perspective than any politician in my many decades of life.

It’s very simple. People that watch and believe whats on the news, hate trump or severely dislike him. Those that can see through the agenda driven narratives, conservative news included, start to see the real Trump.

It’s the way he conducts himself honestly. People don’t like it. That’s it. That’s the answer. I’m sure people are going to talk about “my feels” and such, but it doesn’t change the fact that many people find him distasteful and morally reprehensible. They want more from their leaders. I’ll put it like this. If a politician acts in a way with his temperament that I would not accept from my 9-year old children, then I’m not going to be inclined to vote for him.

Did you vote for Biden? How would you describe his demeanor and clarity regarding the economy?

So these people will choose to suffer financially/economically if it possibly means the end of Trump?

This ^^^ is the inability to separate personality from policy…..I’m sorry but this behavior in my mind, is absolute mental fragility.

He can be.

Then again, he is a NYC billionaire.
As such, it isn’t surprising to me.

What a moronic take.

However, this take is spot on:

Trump haters: he’s a narcissist and a liar!!!!!

Unlike our political class who are universally altruistic and pathologically honest.

I wish he weren’t sloppy and petty but the sad reality is he’s the only national figure in politics who actually advocates for and acts in the interest of American voters.

You act like people are robots though and that this other stuff won’t matter to them. It does though.

Because some people act like he is some altruistic jesus trying to save us all, when if you do any research at all its pretty hard to miss that everything he doss is to serve his own ego
