Dolloff also shows some incredible teleportation skills. Look how he suddenly changes position, in relation to the shadow of the fence pole, and where it crosses the dark streak on the sidewalk.

Has a raw video of the full incident been released yet?
The following link is another video from “L” that is a composite of the images/videos that have been released so far. It offers is a good time-sequenced video of the confrontation that immediately preceded the shooting. Note the cops — clearly in earshot— standing around with their thumbs up their asses while BGM is ranting and raving.
The video is age restricted so a sign-in is necessary.

Has Hank returned to scold us for swallowing right wing propaganda?

Another point being lost in all this is how not a single conservative drew a weapon in response to Keltner being murdered right next to them.
That’s how close the police were: despite them actually having reasonable ground to believe their lives may be in danger, they did nothing and waited for the police.
There is zero defense for Dolloff.

That isn’t lost on the media.
What ISNT said is often times more important than what is.

Got the track of the casing but not the draw or steps backward. Interesting

quote:If you look at Bobby's link to the Denver Post (all 70+ images), you will see that her camera was recording images at a rate of 7fps at time index 36:53 (just prior to the draw) and at a rate of 6fps at time index 36:54 (during the draw & shoot) and increased to a rate of 10fps at time index 36:55 (Keltner hit and falling).
Huge gap. Where is the leveling of he pistol Helen?
The shutter speed, aperture and ISO remain the same thru this sequence, indicating that the delay is NOT the camera adjusting its settings (was probably set on MANUAL at SS-500, Ap-6.3 and IS-400). CONCEIVABLY, she was set on autofocus and the delay is due to faster movement in the frame, slowing the focus. But I doubt that. Someone more familiar with the D5 might be able to address that question. I shoot Pentax, not Nikon.
After Keltner is down, the saved fps is 10fps at BOTH time indices 36:56 AND 36:57.
It would be interesting to compare the fps capture rates during the earlier confrontation with BGM, but she was obviously feathering her SR then, because the rate is only about 4fps, in several groupings separated by a second or more.
It IS plausible to posit that some frames are missing between the last recorded image at time index 36:53 (Dolloff reaching for holster and Keltner's right arm at his side) and the first image at time index 36:54 (Dolloff aiming at Keltner and Keltner discharging his gas). If you add 2-3 images in that gap (about 1/3 second), your fps rate is more consistent with the burst rate for the following two seconds.
Unfortunately, there are NOT enough images at PRECEDING time index 36:52 to provide a useful PRECEDING baseline. In English, that means that she was probably shooting less than that full second at time index 36:52.
All of this DOES, however, raise another interesting set of questions. If she set this whole thing up, why was she not capturing images of Keltner beginning IMMEDIATELY after he stalked away from loudmouth BGM? Why did she not capture images of him "moving aggressively" toward the reporter? Why did she not capture images of the "heroic" Dolloff protecting his charge? Why did she not start photographing him until AFTER Dolloff had inserted himself between Keltner and the reporter?
VERY interesting stuff her, but ambiguous in many ways.

The interesting question is "WHY is that gap there?" Yes, it COULD be image deletion, and it COULD be some technical issue with the camera. I certainly agree that the timing is ... fortuitous.

“She” didn’t set it up, but was part of the “setup”.
My guess is that she wasn’t expecting that interaction to end in the moneyshot because, frankly, it probably wasn’t that dramatic or exciting. It wasn’t until halfway through she was like oh shite I better record.
The whole thing was Dolloff blowing his wad early trying to shoehorn an opportunity to be the hero. Hence his “I fricked up, didn’t I?” look on his face. I think it’s interesting of all the things he can do in that moment, he looks to the person taking pictures. That would be the last thought on my mind if it were totally organic.

Someone said earlier the girl already said she omitted the frames- there’s no need for speculation if so, but they didn’t cite the source of that info

I read this cryptically and hope you are correct.
It's gonna be up to "we the people" to start making sure anything resembling justice is meted out.
