It's you're....as in "I know you're Cajun" and "doing what you're bitching about" This Cajun can at least spell, where you can neither spell nor make a coherent point about your racist school marm LeBron..Will he scribble fake racist graffiti on the school too? Then wash it off and call the cops? He can start all the schools he wants ....that doesn't change the race baiting he does constantly. The idiot thinks Trump is the one dividing the Country through sports...WTF? He needs to blame that on his AA, multi-millionare, shite stirrer, athlete friends, and he needs to look in a mirror. Dumb athletes who live in glass houses should only throw basketballs....not rocks.

So one of my Goddaughters worked for the Cavs for awhile.

Lebron is a total crybaby spoiled little bitch and everyone knows it.

He gets a free pass on a lot of bullshite he's pulled. And there has been a lot.

Fans love him because he gives away free stuff and presents himself as a good father and husband ... but he's not, or so it's been said by some up there.

Cleveland loves him though ... most always will.

I got a haircut at Sports Clips earlier and they were playing movies on Starz instead of ESPN. I didn’t mind but still asked why.

The Hispanic lady cutting my hair and the black lady who works at another station both said that there’s only so much of Lebron and Stephen A Smith talking politics they can take.

Amen ladies.

Lol, No. Jordan would have crushed him and made him like it. Lebron was probably born with the best set of tools all time, but he lacks the step on your throat killer instinct of Jordan. It's not really even close.

Good post. I, for one, don’t follow Lebron or basketball really at all and wasn’t aware of his efforts in education of at-risk youth. Hats off to him there.

^^^ That said, this stood out to me:

quote:

In addition, there is a focus on combating factors outside of the classroom that could cause children to struggle. Services are available to help students deal from stress related to parents who are struggling to make ends meet.

To gloss over the issue in inner city America as being merely due to parents “struggling to make ends meet” is part of the problem. We have to be able to have conversations about the real problems in these communities. I’m sure that some have financial issues, but I’m sure for many others the dysfunction is due to many other self-inflicted problems that should be honestly addressed if we ever want to solve them.

Lebron seems to be yet another black man in America who fully subscribes to the victim mentality, which is very unfortunate for those from backgrounds similar to his who don’t happen to be blessed with incredible physical talent. What are they supposed to do - just sit around and wait for the government or Lebron to make things better for them?

Ironically, lebron is doing just that under the guise of “using his platform for social change”

Yep. If you're going to use your job to challenge people to choose sides on an issue that has nothing to do with your job, don't be surprised if they don't choose your side. There's a time and a place for that conversation, and most people don't think it's Sunday afternoon in football stadiums.

So you’re basically saying, “I’m Lebron James, a retard. Don’t be like me.”

He is litterally what you would hope a black man would do.

I don't care what color he is. He plays a game for a living and doesn't know the first thing about macro or microeconomics. He should just shut up, dribble, and entertain like 99% of the other guys do and enjoy his success. And I'd rather he got a college education and set an example for the youth that worship him that education is more important than how good your "j" is.

worked hard

He plays basketball. Let's not confuse playing a game with actual work.

amazing example of a family man

He got married before he had kids. So did I. So do most non-morally repugnant people.

quote:

I would hope we would all want welfare kids to become like him

They are like him. Welfare kids think basketball is the only thing that can save them and education is a waste of time.

a more highly educated minority

Dude didn't even go to college. Try again.

This isn't about race, so why are you trying to take it there?

Amen...well said! LeBron is so butt hurt that Barry is no longer Pres. His open door to the White House is closed. Once he campaigned for Hillary I was done with the NBA.

That’s what I’m saying. When my GF threatened to break up with me because all these instagram models posted screen shots on the internet of me sending them DM’s to meet up I was like no babe, family man Lebron James does this too. It’s fine, everything is fine
