I don’t believe that even this retarded administration would be stupid enough to fly the CIA director to Moscow to try to convince the Russians they’re losing but if it’s true they probably laughed their asses off as soon as he left.

I mean you can make the argument. I find it hard to make a compelling case that either side has any real advantage currently.
This war makes me really pessimistic for the future because if/when a global war breaks out it will likely be similar to this one. Slow, attritional warfare where no one really has the upper hand for years until someone taps out or collapses.
Though I guess it's also possible that if that conflict is us against someone weaker or say China against someone weaker we or they in China's case overwhelm them fairly quickly. Though with how Iran has gone for us I'm skeptical of that possibility.

The mobilization won't be fast. They've been trying to put together this thing for a couple of years and still haven't. That and because their logistics suck they won't be able to organize them into anything significant or fast moving.
And they'll be as effective as they've been up to this point, which is completely useless.

So in a larger sense, we can predict what happens in Russia by watching the Chinese.

Another video from Wednesday's car bomb attack in St. Petersburg. Victim was an officer in the Air Defense and Missile unit responsible for production of AD and ballistic missiles.

They supposedly talked her into placing an IED under the car. She did it in Shushary on August 26 evening, then flew to Turkey from Pulkovo at 5am on August 27.
Russian security services claim they identified her and asked Turkish counterparts to detain her. She had allegedly already landed in Chisinau by then.
